Hello again (18 May 2010)

Has been months since my last post.

What am i doing now? This, my other form of procastination away from chemo...it's nice...but the problem isn't me, it's YOU.

What am I listening to? Sound of the Underground by Girls Aloud. (The lyrics are soo catchy ^^)

What have I been doing? Taking advantage of internet to download TV series that we need to entertain ourselves here in Hobart. Watching B2ST Almighty Documentary...not recommended though my hottie Dong woon is there...but not a good show to watch.

What I'm looking forward to? Multicultural night!!!!! The chance where we (i.e Susie, Ashie, Diana-chan, Hye Myoungie, Chua girl etc..) can just annoy the hell out of each other.that's what friends are for!

Loads of Catching Up

Couldn't believe that I actually ...actually got here!

3 months have gone so quickly. I even remembered those few days where I was dreading to go back and see everyone again.

But here I am. Helping everyone with their storage and moving their boxes to their new/old rooms.

Still in the same room with Amily. But with a new resolution = 100% SUCCESS!

Pros of coming back to Hobart:

1) Seeing everyone again!

2) Being back with Stephen

3) Enjoying the scenic views, breathless nights, cold yet welcoming winds.

4) Studying, getting my brain freshened up and useful again.

5) They finally changed to a better internet plan option (although it's still slightly ..expensiveish)

Cons:

1) DC didn't come back with us!!! *SOB* we need a tech back!

2) New rooms i.e more pple. not to be insociable but too many pple spoils it.

3) New faces, seems so old and out of it.

4) They took our old hangers from our room!!! Leaving me and Amily hanger-less

5) Everyone was sooo dead from the long and endless flights.

6) FOOD prices gone UP UP UP! I mean, if the prices gone up, please UP the quality and portion too.

Sigh, it's just my 3rd day back and I'm whinging already.

Who knows what's in store for me later this week.

By the way, I'm starting class at 12pm this Monday!! SWEET!

Places I will/must travel before I leave this scene

This has been long inspired since I came back from Hong Kong Disneyland.

This afternoon I was bored staring in front of the computer after a series of download failures, from megaupload =.=. But suddenly, the thought of Disneyland and Disneyworld (ok srsly i've been Disney-ised) made me create a list of places that I must go and travel, not by myself of course, definitely with friends (family depends, i'm not being selfish here, but most of the trips with family always ended in frustration)

With the help of Google, I coughed up some places I really wanna go.

1) Disneyland/Disneyworld (California and Florida)

Aiming for the rides and shows, sooo wanna stay in their resort. Remembered watching from
the channel Travel and Living off Astro (ages ago), was sooo in awed with their hotel.
Everything looks magical! Oh and also MGM and Universal Studios, soo wanna see the stars!

2)Bora Bora Island

The water is sooooo CLEAN! Well hopefully the tourists dun dirty up the place before I
actually get there. Not really a fan of water, but will try my best to snorkel if I get the chance,
and stay in those cool huts off the water!

3) Alaska and Antartica

Full blast COLDNESS! Cute Huskies!! Stalking polar bears and seals (fingers crossed they
don't go extinct) Seriously how can I not want that??

4)Wineglass Bay and Bay of Fires in Tassie!

I want to see how beautiful Tasmania (i.e a hole as regarded by many) is before I end my studies.

5)NEW YORK!

Frank Sinatra's New York New York!! The Empire State Building. Ground Zero. Golden Gate Bridge, the city that never sleeps!

6)Rome

Rediscover how the Rome wasn't built in a day.

7) Egypt

Crawl into those "cursed" pyramids where the dead kings (and queens) lie. AWESOME!
Ride the camels! Experience the desert!

8) Korea (South of course)

So wanna experience the making of KIMCHI!! >.<>
Land where TVXQ, Super Junior, urm....fine SNSD was born! Go to music core or music bank
(hoping that Suju or TVXQ will still perform on those stage)

9) Japan

ANIME HEAVEN!!! ^^ Hello Kitty Land! SUSHI WORLD!!!!

10) England (esp London- aiming for Old Trafford Stadium and Big Eye)

Hot British accents, Hugh Grant, Simon Cowell, Kate Winslet! Must sooo meet them! and
also must watch a Man U game (not that I'm a fan. but i soo wanna see how good they playand get into the feel)

11)Great Wall of China

I wanna be seen from the moon!! (not that I'll be seen =.=) Wanna walk those steps that hundreds of pple died to built.

12)Machu Picchu

Well, amazing race went there. >.<>

13)The Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights in Alaska (refer to 3)

I must MUST SEE THIS!!

14) The Whole Malaysia

As a Malaysian, I must embrace Malaysia as it is despite the hypocrites and corruption.
Must see the orang utans, the turtles at...(crap i forgot the name of the Tanjung, but we
learnt it in Geography), eat kolok mee, laksa, everything that is Malaysian!

15) Singapore

Though I've been to Singapore many times, I've never been to tht bloody Merlion coz no one
wanted to go with me! Soo, it's a must that I have to go there!

Well, that's my list for now. Though I know I wouldn't conquer all of them in my future 20 years.

Mei Tachibana (right) >> An interesting character. She managed to live without friends...AT ALL. No boyfriend, no first kiss, nothing. For girls, i reckon it's hell to be in her shoes. But her dullness and her practicality just makes her soooo CUTE!

Yamato Kurosawa>> He inspires me. His characteristics just made me questioned whether there would ever be a guy like that. Popular around pretty infamous girls, ok how is tht inspiring? Well, the fact tht he's popular for being himself. Nice, honest, helpful, respectful, even to those who are considered the "ugliest" people ever!

Interesting part is, he fell in love with her after she kicked him instead of his friend who actually "peeked" at her for self defence. And stole her first kiss to protect her from a stalker. How is that possible?!!!

Now I'm awaiting chapter 9's english scans to come out.

Upon arrival

Left Sydney on a plane early in the wee hours.

Sat for 8 hours to get to Singapore for transit.

Fascinated by Singapore's new airport terminal and how they made it child friendly too (crayons, papers and stamps available for kids to play when they're bored at the airport)

Another 2 hours to Hong Kong.

Finally reached!!!

Got into a taxi (but they called it a limousine...dunno why) with my family, a japanese traveller and a chinese businessman and we're off to Shenzhen!

As we got closer, the scenery was slowly changing.

Driving was getting more tense and worse, sky was turning grey, more people were seen.

And before you know it, it was Shenzhen Port, packed with strangers, who relates to me by their skin colour and their hair colour.

But....their mentality wasn't the same as mine.

I realised after doing a post, I decided to do another one. (which took me like...forever!)

This time shall be about my top 10 hot/lovable men. *drools*

Anyways, (ignoring Homer) welcome to the Special Edition of Capturing Al's Heart Awards (CAHA).

Let's start from 10 then we'll slowly move to one. (Thinks first)
But rest assure, it's not Zac Efron or that guy who is Edward from Twilight.

Number 10 goes to........

Anthony Callea

This guy was the first singer that kept me hooked onto a singer for so long (it lasted for half a year well before HSC). His voice is definitely one of those which you can never never EVER find in this era. (it's like drawing a lotto). His music, sensational, especially the ballads (melts). He's on my number 10 coz...he sings fabulously, he's Italian (they're known for being good looking ...*smiles*), he's older than me (unfortunately by 7 years, but still), he made it into Australian Idol final, sang for the Queen (that's definitely a plus)...but.............................

He's short...er (158 CM) than me AND..................

This bloke loves guys rather than girls. Yes, he's GAY. Sigh (strikes name off datable guys' list).


Moving on (disappointingly)

9 would be......

Legolas played by Orlando Bloom from the trilogy movie, Lord of the Rings.

Long blonde silky hair, I think HE, amongst all the elves used the MOST EFFECTIVE shampoo + conditioner and BEST hair straightener to get a hair like that, seriously, it doesn't even get tangled and I doubt he would even get split ends after slaying those Orcs and running around in trilogy(which according to Frodo himself, it was a 6-months journey!!) No shower or anything well probably one or two, but for that hair to last that long (ZOMG!)

Ok, cut the crap about his hair which we all know it's fake...duh~. Anyways, he definitely was THE FIRST of all the hobbits, men and wizards in the movie to steal young girls hearts, swooping them off with his gentle nature character. NO doubt about that. He's swift, very good with arrows (which I'm sure he managed to struck all those girls with his love bow.) BUT...........with great regrets, he's played by Orlando Bloom, which kinda ruined my fantasy (TOTAL opposite of Legolas) ..sigh...ah well, at least elves aren't real...are they??

No. 8 is other than Takeshi Yamamoto from Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

Ok, there are two guys, but they're the same (just 10 years different =P). The cuteness came from the younger Take on the right and the hotness comes from 10 years older Take on the left. Watching Katekyo Hitman, I slowly fell for Take (the younger one first, NOTE SPOILER!) but soon later the older one came out after a long run of episodes, KYA~ (thanks author for thinking of him) (which was only on screen for like 2-3 episodes) sad!! But he definitely makes onto my list as a fine swordsman, happy-go-lucky, only serious when he needs to, a loyal friend and a nice Anime character to fantasize about. >.<.

7 th place goes to.....

The reason of these two different photos is because of picture 1 and the character he was playing and definitely his good acting skills, I fell for it after seconds of seeing him on screen.

TADASHI (Japanese way of saying BUT), after immediate hunt for him over the net to find out he was in a Japanese idol boyband looking like picture 2 (instant crush on heart and mind). He's definitely good looking, but seriously...lay off that hair!!!

The 6-er would be.... Cho Kyu Hyun!

Yes, smile for the world to see! Another fantastic ballad and pop singer from Super Junior. Despite being the last member to join Super Junior, this young man, just a year older than me (whew thank god), manage to steal the hearts of many with his looks and his melodious voice that can range from the sensous to some ubelievable pitches. ^_^. Therefore this little (well not little he's like 180 cm tall...eek) slips his way to my #6 list.


Halfway through adi! Yay!!

The middle man (more like men) in this list would be ....deng deng deng....

the 5 member boy band group Dong Bang Shin Ki a.k.a TVXQ!!

Ok, the reason is, each of them has pros and cons (i.e looks and talents) Jae Joong, Chang min and Xiah (all awesome singers but in a different rhythm and tone). Micky for his absolute well off rapping skills and Yunho for his passion for dancing. On a plus side, they have different yet unique looks. So 5 for 1well-loved group, they sit in the middle spot.

4 th place ================> SS501's Park Jung Min!


Charismatic, looks good with and without glasses, funny and an absolute heartthrob when singing, he's got my vote for being one of THE finest gentlemen on the planet. Also a plus, he has a good body (without the 6 pack abs of course, don't worry, he doesn't have a flab. XD)


You do realised that as I move downwards there's less and less things to say about these guys, coz


1) They're near the perfection in terms of how they represent themselves to the society...well not like 90% perfect

2) No words can really describe these talented men.

3) I'm absolutely tired from looking at this post....lol (hard work eh?)

3 rd place goes to.....

Tamaki-senpai!! (another anime character..heehee) from Ouran High School Host Club.

Yup, this idiotic character managed to charm me in many ways. From his lack of observation and sensibility at times to his warm considerate heart, constantly looking out for others. He's half french (so there's still some romantic charm in him), good body, gentle smile, a gentleman, what more could you want out of him?? He's definitely a whole package. But as I said again, leave this to your brain to do the fantasizing.



The 1st runner up...dancing and rapping his way in....the silver monkey!!

2 Lee Hyuk-Jae a.k.a Eun Hyuk hailing from Super Junior!!!

Seriously, this kid, well he's 3 years and a day older than me...and April baby too! ^-^. Anyways, this kid can be serious and playful and funny at the same time. To be honest, there weren't any sparks when I first saw him in Super Junior due to the HORRENDOUS amount of boys in that group. But anyways, after dissecting that group, I noticed his existed firstly via his dancing during It's You Performance on Music Bank (can't remember which episode, but it was definitely then) His fashion style (must thank his stylist for an excellent job) and his badass and energetic dance moves just caught my attention. Slowly, the little silver monkey grew on me. He can be stupid at times, but it doesn't turn me off, it makes him more interesting than the others. But I want to acknowledge him for his moves and his rapping skills.....though he may be stingy and gluttonous(at times).

Finally, the number one you've been waiting for.

None other than my dearest guy, who's been the only guy who's made me worry about him more than anyone else, even myself! Stephen Kim, a South Korean, whom I didn't know that I'd ended up with him in 2008 April. Who knew this guy could make me mad at him and yet love him at the same time. Intriguing isn't it? (Quote from Eddie haha)

Well, who knew I'd go for him, haha, I guess love itself is really blind and comes knocking on your door unexpectedly. But despite all the agonizing pain he's put me through (well his new mistresses are Jun Kobayashi, medicine, and TV series').....................

I still love this pinchable and resistant boyfriend of mine. (HEE)

Valid for 3 years

YES!! I'm officially a certified first aider and a CPRist (not sure whether it's called that way) !!!

Yesterday, after a long tiring day of first aid and CPR training, I obtained my certificate and earned myself an inflatable little mannequin which I can kiss anytime I want (well until my supply of plastic lungs are used up), called Little Anne.

You know pushing down that chest needs lots and lots of effort?? Seriously, practising on that mannequin (ONE PUSH = ONE CLICK = ONE COMPRESSION) (it makes clicking sounds when you push it's chest) it takes more than your body weight (well mine definitely) really depending, but seriously , everyone in my class except for a guy (which was the only guy) couldn't get the click the first time we pressed on Little Anne. Shocking isn't it?! (well i'm not exactly strong...lol)
(Points at picture above) Little Annie is in that box,just can't be bothered opening.

And guess what? I'm the youngest and the only Asian, how pathetic? well, at least I'm not the only girl. haha.

Ah well, all in all, I did something useful and I feel really really good about it.

But all in all, I have made myself feel and being useful not only to myself, but to my family, friends and to the world. Yay! Definitely an achievement of the day! As the title says, I will only be allowed to do this for 3 years till renewing the certification again. But ah well, let's be happy for now. Shall we??

Sometimes in life, you will stop and look back and look at yourself, inside and out to see how far you've travelled.

But me, I've never actually stopped. (ok probably have stopped but never thought of it in depth)

I just kept going whatever is being thrown upon me.

Today, I stopped...because a mirror was thrown at me to let me see what I have not been seeing.

Dear Blog

Dear blog,

Today i did a few good deeds:

1) I woke up at 1pm after having dreams of Liz, Jill, Qi Min, Nicholas, Ngie Joong and some other pple back at home in Miri and we were at Boulevard Shopping centre..which i wasn't sure whether it was actually Boulevard or not.

2) I drank 2 cups of light cream milk (added with chocolate powders from Nesquik) [good and healthy for my bones]

3) Prepared dinner earlier than usual, which gave me more time to relax and surf the internet.

4) Returned my "neighbour's" plastic air-filled ball by kicking it across the fence. (it was the "neighbour's" coz my brother found tht air-filled ball one day in our backyard and decided to keep it...without the thought whether it belonged to our neighbour or not)

Lastly....I treated myself to a melted chocolate and vanilla ice cream (after discovering that Bulla's Cookies and Cream ice cream melted and was expired) in a cone I prepared for myself. (i think my fridge is PMSing...)

That's it for today...the eve of the announcement of results.

Now I pray that Me, Stephen and everyone else will pass and move on happily to next year.
